At The Jade Loft, we make story driven cinematic wedding films that preserve more than what happened on the day. They capture how it felt to be there.
Based in Sydney, we film weddings across Australia and throughout Europe. We're a small team, bringing different personalities and perspectives to the day while sharing the same approach to telling a story.
We don't believe your wedding film needs to feel staged or overly polished. We're there to observe what's actually happening. The nervous energy before the ceremony, the way your friends lose it on the dance floor, and the quiet moments in between.

Charlie

Charlie founded The Jade Loft after more than a decade working in commercial filmmaking, a world he still dips back into between weddings. He brings that experience and cinematic eye to every film, while leading the creative direction of The Jade Loft.
Loves: Surfing, a classic Negroni and a proper cup of English Breakfast tea.
Guilty pleasure: Anything sugary that absolutely cannot be left unattended in the house.
FRANCISCO
Cinematographer
Originally from Chile, Francisco is now an Australian resident and one of Charlie's closest friends. He brings his own eye to The Jade Loft, along with the warmth, energy and infectious personality you'd expect from a Chilean at a wedding. He works within the visual language we've built together, while bringing plenty of his own flavour to the day.
Loves: The beach, frozen pizza and damaging other people's surfboards.
Guilty pleasure: Beach Burrito and a few too many margaritas.

BARBARA
Content Creator
Originally from a small town near the Dolomites in northern Italy, Barbara is now an Australian resident and Charlie's partner in life. She brings a natural, energetic perspective to the wedding day, capturing the candid moments, behind-the-scenes memories and little details that complement the cinematic film.
Loves: Italian summers, the mountains and being around people.
Guilty pleasure: Pouring salt into a pasta pot like she's trying to preserve it for winter
